Mary Magdalene
Mary Magdalene was from Magdala in Galilee on the western shore of Lake Tiberias(her name literally means Mary of Magdala). She is called the "Apostle of the Apostles" by St. Thomas Aquinas and is the patron saint of contemplative life, converts, penitent sinners, sexual temptation, and women.
Mary Magdalene was a former demoniac and provided for Jesus and the Twelve using her wealth. She witnessed His Crucifixion, burial, and ressurection.
